Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi & transfer to Hotel.
Upon arrival at the Delhi airport, you will be greeted by a dedicated employee holding a sign with your name. They will escort you to your transportation and take you to your hotel. After checking in, you can take the rest of the day to relax and explore the city at your leisure. Enjoy the comfort and convenience of staying in a hotel in Delhi for the night.
Day 2 : Delhi City Tour
Following breakfast, embark on a tour of the historic Old Delhi. Visit the newly constructed Akshardham temple, Raj Ghat, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid, all of which hold great cultural and historical significance. In the afternoon, take a trip to New Delhi to see the India Gate, the Qutub Minar (the most prominent stone tower in India), the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple, and the Humayun Tomb. Return to your hotel in the evening and spend another night in Delhi.
Day 3 : Delhi to Agra Via Mathura (Every Friday Taj Mahal is Closed)
After a morning meal, we will set off for Agra, the former capital of the Mughals empire. Along the way, make a stop to visit Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and Sikandra, the site of Emperor Akbar's tomb. Upon arriving in Agra, check into your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at your leisure or visit the Agra Fort in the evening. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4 : Visit Taj Mahal & proceed to Orchha
Start your morning with a visit to the famous Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a tribute to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After your visit, continue your journey to Orchha. Once you arrive, check into your hotel and spend the evening as you please. A comfortable overnight stay in Orchha
Day 5 : Morning Orchha City tour Afternoon Proceed to Khajuraho
This morning after breakfast, you will be visiting the historic city of Orchha. This medieval city is filled with palaces and temples from the 16th and 17th centuries that have remarkably survived the test of time.You can explore the 14 Chatris, or palaces, built for the lords of Orchha, as well as the Rajmahal and Rai Parveen Mahal. Later in the afternoon, you will be making your way to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the evening exploring the city at your leisure. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 6 : Khajuraho City Tour
After a hearty breakfast, you will be visiting the famous Khajuraho temples, known for their intricate and sensual carvings. You will see the Eastern and Western Group of Temples, where you can admire the unique architectural styles and intricate carvings. Some of the must-see temples include the Parsvanath Temple and the Adinath Temple. By evening, return to your hotel in Khajuraho for the night.
Day 7 : Khajuraho to Jhansia/satna train to Varanasi.
After having breakfast, you will make your way to the train station to catch a train to Varanasi. The train ride will be overnight.
Day 8 : Arrival in Varanasi & transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival in Varanasi, a driver will be waiting for you with a name card and will take you to your hotel. After checking in, you can explore the city, visit the Ganges River and the cremation sites or stay in the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 9 : City Tour & Boat Ride in Varanasi City & Sarnath Tour
Varanasi is known for its religious significance and is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. It is believed that dying in Varanasi leads to salvation, and it is home to the famous Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The Ganges ghats are also significant as it is believed that bathing in its waters washes away sins. It is also known for being home to many notable classical musicians and dancers.Take an early morning boat trip on the Ganges to explore the cremation grounds and bathing ghats. Visit binding religious sites such as the Bharat Mata Temple, the Durga Temple, the Tulsi Manas Mandir, the Banaras Hindu University art gallery, and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.In the afternoon, visit Samath, a Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, and explore the museum, stupa, temple, and ruins. Return to your accommodation in the evening.
Day 10 : Varanasi to Delhi by Flight.
After breakfast, you will be transported to Varanasi Airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name and will take you to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day in Delhi, an overnight stay.
Day 11 : Transfer to Airport/ Railway Station for onwards Journey
You will transfer to the Delhi Airport or Railway Station today for your next destination.
